The School Council

The Powell’s School Council are an elected group of two children from each year group in years one to six. We meet about every three weeks in Mrs Cooper’s office. Our job is to gather ideas from our classes and discuss them to improve the school each year. The school council have been instrumental in making improvements to the play equipment.

I like the equipment we use at playtime. It is fun because we get to play with lots of equipment. I like playing football.

Jack Lywood – Year 2 School Councillor

Some of the equipment is really fun to play with like the scoops which you have to catch a ball with. I also like playing with the tipis and the boat.

Wilf Andrews – Year 2 School Councillor
