Gold Book
When you come into our reception area, you’ll find our trophy cabinets and Gold Books.
There are 2 Gold Books, one for Key Stage 1 and one for Key Stage 2 children. The books are available for everyone to look at on the Gold Book table.
Class teachers put three pupils from their class into the Gold Book for Friday’s Assembly, who deserve a special mention for exceptional effort, work and behaviour. During assembly, their name is read out and they find out why they have been put in the Gold book. Each child will then go to the front and collect a special certificate.
Photographs are taken of all the children in Gold Book each week and will be on display here as well as on the Gold Book table in reception.
